Directions:
HURRICANE DETOUR DIRECTIONS: From Burnsville, take 197N toward Bakersville (turn at Glen Raven, do not head on 197 toward Pensacola). At the river, turn RIGHT to proceed toward Bakersville on 197N, then Left in Red Hill on 226 toward Buladean, and then a quick left back onto 197 through Tipton Hill. At the river, bear right under the RR tracks and proceed in downstream direction. Turn right on Pigeon Roost Road under the railroad tracks, and proceed ~1.7 miles to #2180. BE VERY CAUTIOUS ON 197 for dump trucks and power trucks as this is a narrow and winding road that is heavily used right now for reconstruction of the roads along the river. Once roads and bridges are restored, it is only about 20 min from the property to Burnsville. Owner wants listing agent to accompany on property and I can meet in Spruce Pine or Burnsville to guide you in on the hurricane detour. Roads improving daily!
