TWO homes are whispering on the wind to you, if serene privacy is what you seek! A kitschy A-Frame studio loft AND an open floor plan cottage with basement garage/workshop, Rush Cove would be an excellent writer's retreat, full-time residence, vacation rental on one or both of the homes, or just a weekend getaway from the city. Located between the Pensacola township and the nature focused community of Cattail Creek, Rush Cove is in the shadow of thousands of acres of the Pisgah National Forest. These homes are located at the very top of the road, with one visible neighbor. Deck space galore, and only the sounds of nature, if desired. But internet IS available for those who work from home. About 15 minutes to the town of Burnsville and its quaint, arts focused downtown. Could easily add mini-split system to each home for central air and heat.
From Hwy 19E in Burnsville, take Hwy 197 South towards Pensacola. Turn Left on Bolens Creek Rd. Go 3.7 miles Turn Left at Stop sign back onto Hwy 197, Go 2 miles, Turn Left onto Cattail Creek Rd. Go 0.9 miles and turn Left onto Rush Cove. Take the first SHARP right to stay on Rush Cove (you will see a sign that reads Left Fork and a decorative outhouse). Travel up gravel road and turn right at top of gravel onto paved road into forest. Pass 2 A Frame homes on left and then you will arrive at 346 Rush Cove.
